From an initial scholarship grant of $400 in 1955, the Avon Foundation is now a 501(c)(3) public charity and a leader in advancing women’s issues, raising tens of millions of dollars a year for critical causes. The best known Avon Foundation program is the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade. First created in the UK in 1992, the Avon Crusade was launched in the US in 1993 and Avon proudly supports breast cancer programs in more than 50 countries. As of 2004, more than $350 million had been raised and donated worldwide through a variety of programs and events, with the majority of the fundraising driven by US initiatives. Funds are awarded for breast cancer scientific research, access to treatment, diagnosis and screening, support services, and education and awareness, all with a focus on the medically underserved. Beneficiaries range from leading cancer centers to community-based non-profit breast health programs.

Breast cancer is one of the major problem facing most of womens.It is very danger some womens are died because of it. It is very expensive therapy.I think govt allow some funds to it.
