Dear MLM Mail Guy:How do you suggest promoting a web site in the least expensive yet most effective way?
I agree that having the web site is a must. It is always open and can answer basic (or even complex)questions and should be capable of allowing an opportunity to make money while you are occupied, but it is virtually useless if you cannot get people to know that it exists.
I know that there are paid ways to “get the word out”, but for the person that is just getting into a new business it would be nice if we/they had some other options.
Any suggestions?

Dear PPL,
The answer to your question is right in front of you. It’s called a blog. If you want to drive traffic to your Web Site, write about it on a blog.
Last year, I did a Network Marketing blogging experiment, called The MLM Experiment. The MLM Experiment was an experiment in online Network Marketing using only a blog and 15 minutes a day of research and posting. Since blogs are free (see blogger.com) there were no expenses involved. The MLM Experiment was launched on November 1st, 2004 and within one month it had logged 3,000 unique visitors.
Fast forward to today: I have not made a post on the MLM Experiment blog for some time, but my original Vemma site is still ranked in the top 3 on Google with the MLM Experiment Blog still on the front page as well.
