I’m an Amway/Quixtar IBO also and I’ve made thousands off of these drinks, how much have YOU made off of that other crap?

Hello. I am a amwayGlobal IBO have been that way for about 3 years. 2 of those have not been doing anything except looking at all the cases, all the bad, all the good. Taking a look at what i can afford. And what the company produced literature had to say. And the shocking truth hit me. Dammit, Amway is trying to make money. Those dirty dogs, trying to make enough money to leave something behind for their kids and familys. I also learned that all business’s, even the federal government are going to have shots taken at them. And in all things corruption will take root. But use your head, and heart. I routinly challenge my upline, and my mentors to ideas, old and new. We talk all the time, and upline is there to be abused. I believe in that whole heartadly. I have had some of my second team call me in the middle of the night, and I will always be there. And yes it is work, it is not free. I am moving into my stride where i am making contacts with 5-10 people a month who i do not know. All the people i know order stuff, or not. I let them all know what the price is, and for my family i ask them if they want to pay retail, or wholesale. Anyone else it is retail. But one of the other people above pointed out that if someone wanted to go all retail, they could. Selling products is no different from what our economy is based on. Sorry its long, here is what a great starting point is. personal group = 75pv/225bv (customers varies but i usu ally get +35pv/105 bv. My main leg usually puts me to 9% or 12% back on my personal [ so 12% of 315 = 38.50 + 20% retail on customer 105.00 = 21.00 that right there is 51.00 so subtract that from what i pay for my normal monthly goods. I can exceed costco prices. My second team usually comes in at 3% or 6% depending on how well we retail products. Again that dirty word "retail", so i usualy get a difference between 12% and 6%, and that is usually about 54.00. SO I MAKE USUALLY ABOUT 105.00 and only pay about 120.00 for 225.00 of stuff. which no store can really beat that. its like 50% off. And if i get the second team with enough people who want to make something more of life, and want to strive for better things. Then i start a third team. In all these things i learn about myself and people. I am 37, i have done crap jobs most of my life, what other job allows you to go and talk to good people, who want more and help them attain it. Yes i have moved inot where i work my main job and then put in 4-6 hours additional. not all of it meeting people, but looking through quixtar for my team, and find the best deals. seeing about what items are coming up that they might be interested. And you can save all the money you like, but unless you do something creative with it, or wisely invest it. you are going to spend it on more stuff. I see people every day at my workplace ordering from the espresso stand in the building. every day. 4.50 x 5 x 4 weeks = 88.00 =/- which is one year subscription to amwayglobal, or 200 tablets of energ (bilabola) 100 to a bottle 31 per bottle. much better than coffee and at 2 per does you got 50 pick me ups. or the cases of energy drinks. 4 cases, 48 cans of xs is about the same price as the espresso. which is about 2 per day. And i looked at the systems out there, some informatoin is good. like everything else if you want to do it, do it. if not take free advice. I always thought i wanted to make lots of money, now i realize that i want 50k to 100k a year with eventually the time to just help my downline, friends who I will have known for many years. I want freedom. I dont want to have to write people up for being late, I dont want to have to punish someone for taking more smoke breaks, I want to relax, travel, and better yet. wake up when i want to. I hate giving people in the normal jobs power over me, but they pay me money to do a job. So I do the best I can. All the oportunity, and people will still not do it. I did not mention all the knowledge to sell is out there on quixtar.com and that, means you can listen to it yourself, get fired up if you want, and go and sell products. Its hard, but so was your first kiss. And hopefully that ended well. Oh. one of my downline is a personal trainer, and he has made more than me due to selling products, you just have to find the nitch for each product and then sell the product. I also know we have to overcome a lot of bad history, but if you always live in the past you will always be bound by it. And for all of you who have not tried, It usually costs 60 + a starter pack usually around 142.00. Try it for a year, at roughly 12 bucks a month, investigate ask questions, look at the website. It will be the cheapest education you invest in. Trust me amway is not looking to make money off the starter pack, they want you to continue and make them, and you more money. If you dont like it, drop it. Just done renew. Most of you have spent more money than that on much more useless things. In my opinion, who cares if you are making $100 or $100K per month @ the Q* business. It is simply another business. The only difference is you do not have all of the traditional overhead expenses you would incur from a traditional “mom & pop” shop or some other franchise. It is something you can do at your own time and leisure. We all eat and drink stuff everyday, this company just affords you to the opportunity to make some kind of money off of doing these things. I’ve been doing the business for about 6 months & I really don’t listen to my upline, and I’m making enough income to fund the “tools” aspect of the business. And I really do not purchase them that often. Point is, it is a business, you will get out of it what you put into it. You have to be willing to really evaluate your personal finacial situation first to figure out how much money you are willing to put into this business regardless of what your upline is telling you. The whole point of you being an IBO, is this is YOUR BUSINESS, not your uplines. If you can’t afford to run your business the way your upline persuades, then do what you can afford to handle. They can’t fire you or suspend your “IBO priveledges”. The money that the “plan” says you can make is real, but you have to do things in your business to attain that income. It is your business IBO. Another point which I believe is the most important point of all is the tax breaks/write-offs you qualify for that you can’t partake in as an employee of somebody else. Even if you are losing in the business, you are still winning in the tax area compared to your co-workers who do not have a business. One more point, they tell you (or atleast they should) that it is going to take 2-5 years to earn a substantial income if you “do what you are told”. How long would you have to work your current job and what would you have to do or give up in order to earn an extra $1000 -$2000 per month residually? Well, let’s drop that even lower to an extra $100 a month? In my current profession, I would have to put some serious time in just to earn an extra $100/month. So just remember, it is simply a distributor business, you will only get out of it what you are willing to put into it.

If they do condone this kind of thing, I have to say that it’s really bad practice since you are not getting to know your customers on a one on one basis.
