If you haven’t bookmarked Andrew McLellan’s Blog. Do it right now. Andrew understands that the Network Marketing industry is undergoing a drastic change. Hype, income claims, and dishonesty are out. Integrity is in. Keep up the good work Andrew.

Andrew McLellan:

Lately I’m seeing a lot of this marketing tactic in our industry that’s hardly ethical - at best. It’s called reverse recruiting.

I’ll give an example of what I’m talking about. Lets say that I make a post in a discussion forum to answer some questions about Network Marketing. From that post, someone grabs my email, sends me a quick message asking to hear more about what I’m doing. So we get in touch and I answer any questions they have, then they say “Oh, that’s interesting… Here’s what I’M doing!”. From this point, they take the next 2 minutes to sell me on their deal. Unbelievable. That was their whole purpose of getting in touch with me!

Is this what the next step in the recruitment game of Network Marketing is? I hope that the direction our industry is heading towards is honesty and relationship building. And don’t roll your eyes - if you’re not endorsing the most ethical way of doing Network Marketing, you’ll find yourself left in the dust.
