Only share your business opportunity to people who have raised their hand to you and say. “I’m interested” or “Show me what you’re doing”.
Showing Aunt Martha (and everyone else with a pulse) your MLM business is a waste of time for Aunt Martha and you. On top of that, it exposes you to unnecessary rejection that you don’t need. Be a solutions provider. If Aunt Martha has a problem that your product or business has a real solution to, offer it. Otherwise, leave Aunt Martha alone. Enjoy the pies she bakes at Thanksgiving. Tell her you love her and find someone that has a real need for what you offer.

Hi… for the past 20 years we have trained third world potters in how to make a locally produced, low cost ceramic water filter that actually removes microbiological contaminants from polluted water. the filter has been studied by MIT, The U. of Virginia, the U. of Colorado, Cambridge University and many more (write me for a list of web sites and studies).
Our problem is not producing the filter but the social marketing of the product, in other words : how do you convince people who have been drinking polluted all their life that they shouldn’t? that if they buy and use the filter it will make it apt for human consumption.
I need your advise, if you care to take on the challenge write back.

Dear Ron,
In my opinion, the key words in your comments are “how do you convince people”.
People don’t want to be convinced.
People want their problems to be solved. Find someone with this problem (dirty/polluted water) and then offer your solution (the special filter).
You may want to come up with some type of visual way to show how polluted and dirty the water is and then show how it looks, smells and tastes after filtering.
