Virgo Publishing’s online training and education Web site, Nutrilearn.com, added Course Two to the American Botanical Council’s (ABC) Herbal Information Course. The training and certification program is designed for professionals interested in herbs and related dietary supplements.
“The first ABC Herbal Information Course was a flagship program on Nutrilearn and has had some of the highest participation of the Nutrilearn offerings,” said Bob Tesdall, Nutrilearn’s manager. “More than 1,500 professionals have taken Course One, so we anticipate Course Two being similarly popular.”
The ABC Herbal Information Course provides training for retail staff members, multi-level marketing distributors, dietary supplement sales and customer service staff, those who sell herbal products, and those who advise patients. Licensed health care practitioners can take the course and receive an ABC certification in addition to their own licensure.
