8 Top Myths of the Masters:How to Separate Today’s Wisdom from Yesterday’s Success Stories

Here I go again . . . running the risk of stepping on some of the industry’s well-known success stories, but honesty compels me to set the record straight as book after book, tape set after tape set, and article after article drift by — most offering shades of the same topic: “How to be successful in MLM.â€?

As a service to those of you who hope to glean some useful advice on how to REALLY make money in MLM today, I am going to “tell it to you like it is� one more time with an exposure of the top 8 myths floating around our industry.

MYTH # 1:Your sponsor will be able to teach you everything.

FACT:In reality, many of the sponsors in MLM can’t do the business building system effectively themselves, let alone teach it. Being good at something and being good at teaching something are two different things! If we’re going to be completely honest, can a sponsor effectively teach something that they cannot do themselves, and do you want to learn the business from that sponsor?
