Hi,
I have been researching Liberty League for a few weeks. Initially the program seemed to rememble MLM and online networking marketing that I was involved in such as En101. I was reassured that it was unlike MLM.
Could you please clarify some points for me?
1. I have joined many networking marketing programs that promise riches but don’t deliver.
2. Having a positive attitude is truly a guarantee to success but some lose so much money in the process. They may end up broke and miserable. Is there insurance against such loss?
Thank you.

Hey.
My wife and I had a wonderful, loving, happy, mutually-supportive marriage for 13 years. Then she got involved in Liberty League International. Since, she has broken oaths, gone against her own word, borrowed tens of thousands of dollars in my name (joint name) against my protest, and taken our son out of the country (to a LLI conference) against my protest. She listens to the Beyond Freedom CDs frequently, and listens in to the conference calls frequently, and follows all the scripts with prospects, and yet… She has brought shame upon herself and upon our family for the past 18 months while making money only for the person who recruited her to LLI. Now, I see greed with no ethics, and she wants to eliminate me from her life for being a “negative person” because I question this scam. LLI triggered the ruination of my family. How dare you promote it?

Hi,
1) No network marketing company can legally promise you riches. Also, no one else but you are responsible for your own wealth and riches, therefore, no one else can make you rich or poor, only you can.
2)Sure, there is. Do not pay any mlm any money unless either you get good value for your money in products and services, or, you can afford to lose the money.

Mr. Young… with a negative person like you around I am not surprised your wife is struggling to build her business. From your description however it appears she is dilgently committed to developing herself and creating a more complete and fulfilling life.
Money isn’t all there is to it. Not everyone is cut out for sales but everybody can benefit from personal development work. Resenting the financial investment in education, whatever form it takes, is not the path
to success with any business.
Perhaps you do not see the value of sending your son to a good school? Or of a college education?
Personally, I have invested 120k plus in a college degree and made no money from it. Was it worth it? YES.
I invested perhaps $25k in building my marketing business, attending seminars, coaching, personal development programs, etc… of which Beyond Freedom is one of them.
I am financially successful in this business of marketing and my own success is 100% due to my never-quit mindset which I developed and continue to perfect as a direct result of practicing…
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT.
I take complete responsibility for my own success and results in life. If I don’t get the results I want with a project it is because , THERE IS SOMETHING I DO NOT KNOW!
And I set out to determine what that thing is.
The #1 reason people have difficulty succeeding in this industry is because they do not have the mindset that supports this statement…

I find the comments of Loren Woirhaye appalling and uncompassionate. Personal development is just that personal development. When it becomes an addiction whereby it harms once healthy relationships then it is no longer personal development but personal destruction. James Young cited oaths, promises and other negative behaviors associated with his wife’s involvement with this business community. I do not believe any success coach would endorse such behavior as being the norm in personal development circles. No one in pursuit of wealth should display any such behavior, period.
Mr. Young I hope your wife sees the light. Don’t give up on her.
If Loren Woirhaye is on fire for Liberty League then why is he now pushing the Jaguar/ Predator Marketing System?
Loren on December 13th, 2006 at 9:32 am
james, perhaps I was a little harsh. The process of becoming successful in this business can be a sort of trial by fire. This is a journey your wife, karmicly if you will, needs to make.
She is trying, I believe, to create a more prosperous life, and she may be making some mistakes on the way. I’m sure you have made her aware of the aspects of her behaviour that you disapprove of… so either love her and accept her struggle and let her work it out… or don’t.
The thing is, you are probably freaking out because you atre struggling financially and since her business isn’t turning a profit, its convenient to see it as an act of folly. I dunno, man, because my situation is very different from yours…
From your wife’s perspective, she is probably busting her ass to create a better life for her family, and she is willing to go real far to do it. Its unfortunate that she has fallen into so traps along the way… but this is not so uncommon and in fact the process of becoming wealthy often includes these tests.
Our wealth (ie. money, but thats not all there is to it) grows in proportion to our personal growth. Welathy people have problems that poor folks don’t, and the challenges are different.
I really wish you and your wife the best in working it out and overcoming the challenges that will stand in the way of wealth, fulfillment, and harmony in your relationship.
Sorry the road is so rocky, brother. Perhaps thats a lesson for you.

hey, David. I wasn’t replying to your comment because it wasn’t visible when I wrote my follow up.
I’m not so on fire about Libery League. Its a good company, but so is Mentors on a Mission. I like educational stuff… thats what I am passionate about, so both programs work for me emotionally.
I will tell anybody that success in this industry is about understanding marketing and having multiple income streams, Thats why I promote more than one program… I’m not a program-hopper though - even though I could probably double my income by doing so.
There is an aspect to internal (PD) work that entails examining our values and overcoming real psychic blockages. Perhaps Mr. Young’s wife grew up among liars so that is the only way she knows how to get what she wants. I don’t know.
What is important is that we all examine our own issues. That goes for me too. I’m a little hard-edged with comments sometimes because there is so much whining online from people who get into these business and expect to succeed without becoming educated as marketers.
Mr Young’s wife has the desire to be free. Its laudable that she has it and its interesting that she is willing to go so far to be successful in the business.
Perhaps she feels “trapped” in her life?

The important thing to understand is that like any business, this business require work and in most cases, the development of new skills.
But I can tell you that in this industry with the right mentor and product that has a high profit margin, you can become a millionaire from scratch in less than 3 years.
Is that worth working for?
In my mind, absolutely.
Cheers,
Andrew

This post goes out to James Young. My heart goes out to you man. I am not a big fan of the High ticket Aussie Two Ups. A few will make a lot of money with them but the vast majority will lose their shirts.
I wish their was something else I could tell you. I hope things work out better for you
