The F.O.R.M. Bomb

Send Out Cards Blog:

It is the age old standard of Network Marketing. We get involved with a great company, with great products, and then we go out to tell everyone about it.

The first thing we are told is “Make a List”

Put together a list of 200 names of friends and family, and don’t worry about whether you think they may be interested or not.

Don’t Prejudge!!!

Put down uncle Tom, and Aunt Mitzi, oh and isn’t your old friend from high School Cameron a Go Getter?

The biggest problem I see with this is that we may have not talked to these folks in 6 months to a year, and all of a sudden out of the blue we are throwing the old F.O.R.M method on them.

F. - How is your family?
O.- What are you doing now for work?
R. Do you still go down to Lake Powell on the Fishing boat every June?

They are initially going to be very excited about our call, because lets face it we all like to hear from folks we haven’t talk to for a while. And to have them call and ask about us…Bonus!!

But then we drop the bomb on them…

M.-Well what if I could show you a way you could go down to Lake Powell more often, would you be interested? Jenn and I just recently got involved…..(fill in the blank)

All of a sudden they close down..you lost them. And in their mind they are thinking “Shane only called me to try and sell me on this “Pyramid Deal”..
