We began looking into this a few days ago, and noticed the debate here.
I am not sure if any of this information helps, but it is worth a look BEFORE getting involved with this.
Please feel free to use the comment field to let us know of anything that you might think is incorrect about 4-e/ethos/victor industries.

I have done some research and I am very impressed with the EthosFR product and the marketing system promoting the Ethos FR Business.
simplelife on April 29th, 2006 at 4:42 pm
I too am impressed with the research and testimonials I have read and seen on FOX News and NBC. You can no longer purchase Ethos FR from its original site. You must go to 4-Ecorp now.

I’m now a distributor with 4-ecorp. I HIGHLY suggest you take the opportunity and be a member. You DO NOT have to create a business with it, but you should use the product.
Why? For the facts mentioned in this post, because they are true. The product works, and I say that from my own experiences.
Check out my site by clicking on my name above and watch the vieos. You can sign up and get a 10% or a 25% discount, it’s up to you.
If you want to make money helping others save money on fuel, you may do so as well.
Contact me through my website.

Just a fair warning; this looks like a real SCAM!
I do not want to hurt anyone, but the Ethos’ 4-ecorp seems like a real scam.
Here are a few examples of REAL DECEPTIONS, LIES, and MANIPULATION.
1. 4-ecorp prominently displays or copied a picture on its homepage that is in fact the very same picture Fuel Freedom International (FFi) used on its original fliers. This is fishy and looks very wrong! FFi started on November 2, 2005.
2. 4-ecorp started off with copying (cloning) the marketing and/or compensation plan of FFi. Is that a compliment to FFi or a lack of professionalism?
3. In one of the calls presented by 4-ecorp on their internet site, a certain Dan Atkinson, apparently a person with a leadership position, mentioned that the gas prices in various parts of Europe are $9 to $11 per gallon. $7.43/gal is the highest as on May 5, 06; dude, get the facts straight!
This is RIDICULOUS, DECEPTIVE, a simple LIE that to me is a clear clue of a “SCAM! Go check it our yourself; the gas prices of the premium have just reached $7.04, $7.10 and $7.43 in the UK, Norway, and the Netherlands, respectively. (Keep in mind that the prices are expressed in Euro or another local currency and per liter.)
1 US Gallon = 3.785 Liters and 1 Liter = 0.2642 US Gallon
How reliable is any other information coming from that person?
4. It gets worse! Shane Maguire (spelling from their website) introduced himself as the PRESIDENT of the company. Well, Mr. Maguire told his listeners that he understood that the gas prices in Europe are “$8, $11 to $12 per gallon! What an outrageous exaggeration. THIS IS DECEPTION! How reliable are these people? Why do you manipulate and deceive your audiences like that Mr. Maguire? How can we ever believe you in other matters?
The highest gas prices in Europe have just reached the $7 range but you in a nincompoop-like statement start out with $8 and go all the way up to $12! How much respect can we have for such ignorance or manipulation?
These are perfect examples of DECEPTION. PERIOD! These are clues of real scams! Watch out!
It would laughable, but it is about tragically lying to people and displaying utter incompetence and lack of responsibility. Sure, they are going to come up with excuses.
The above is enough for me to stay away from such a business and such people.
Just a few other comments. They talk as though they are the leaders in the field of fuel/gasoline additives, or products that aim at reducing consumption and as though every one else is copying them. Well, that too is a LIE! They are one of the latest MLM companies introducing themselves on the market. It seems that they are riding and copying the ideas of others.
When asked during one call if their product will made available in retail stores, the manufacturer replied: “Not this manufacturer. An attentive listener can easily see that this is a tricky reply. It might imply that some other (licensed) manufacturer may produce the same product for retail under either the same or another name. If that is true how exclusive is the product for MLM?
I have never named a company in stating my honest opinion and in warning that it looks dangerously like a SCAM or deception. I only base my opinion on the statements and matters said and/or produced by the said company.
I have made a special link on my website for European prices, clearly explained and converted from Euro ( € ) and other European currencies and liters in to US gallons; you get the original prices per liter and the converted prices in US$ per US Gallon. Look for the link: “International Fuel Prices. (On the right side, scroll down.)
Make your own conclusions. Be careful and do not fall for the hype, watch out for the clues.
I welcome your opinions too, but please base them on facts.
I wish you all the best!

Hey this is all interesting ….but I like to suggest that if any company tells you what wrong with the others it is a clue. I believe if Ethos and FFI and Bio Performance Inc. all did well they would not even get 20% of the drivers even to know of this idea…saving on gas.
The sign of a great company is one that does not encourage it’s people to put down other companies as part of the approach …regardless if they are fuel additives or weight lost ….there is nothing gained by the immature fighting that goes on in MLM industry….every time we spread lies and negative messages about each other we destroy the confidence the public sees in our great industry. If the market is so large … why would we need to fight over customers. Why would we allow our people to disrupt other company meetings. Some one tries to recruit me every day or so by telling me how I do well in a good company…or tell me what is wrong with mine …so far none have made any real money. Since I am earning over $ 2,000.00 a day 95% of the time why would I change companies for some one earing near nothing that is running down the people and company that is blessing my life.
Lets add a bit of respect and maturity to this new gas additive jungle of MLM …let’s work together building this industry with professional behavor…. only those in lack and fear think they have to take someone from here to go there….and the way is by putting down everything but what they sell.
I am proud of BioPerformance Inc. and the owners that have asked us to never run down other companies.
There really lots of business for all of us. Think twice before you run down any company it will probably bring you nothing positive over time.
I am proud of MLM and my association with Bio Performance Inc. has been the best I have ever experienced in 12 years full time.
We all can have that experience if we respect others. Imagine you have invested thousands of dollars to promote meetings and you have a great turn out and suddenly reps from one of the other companies mentioned burst in and tries to destroy your meeting ….imagime you were 70 when this happened …. is it really necessary are we in the rum running business of the 30’s or are we sensible business people.
Lets build a great success story in MLM regardless which company is right for you. Make your efforts of you and your people stand for honor and respect of other people’s right to choose the company they choose.
Lets improve MLM by working to be more …much more professional. This is the bigger need in MLM not in fighting. I have many friends 100’s in other companies including FFI and Ethos …some have left my group and gone to other things ….I would never interfere or wish them failure.
So the next time your talking to a person in MLM offer your opportunity without running down what he is doing and you will have better results and make more friends….as my friend John K who wrote being the best you can be said ” It all about making as many friends as possible” Next time you feel like running down someone else form of putting food on his families table …read Being The BesT You Can Be and I do not think you find that style promoted.
Good luck to every one in FFI and Ethos and all MLM companies we all can be friends and make life more meaningful.
Sincerely
Michael ( Sr VP Bio Performance )
Happy were I am and wish you great success where you are.

I tried to sign up twice. I paid by e check twice, but thank God they couldn’t find my bank. I have asked a few simple questions over and over again with no answers, and they kept telling me they will send out the product, but . . .Has anybody received the product yet? I really would like to try it.

Yes, we have tried the product and it works. Plus we have received our first check also. The product is great and it works.

Michael(SR> VP Bio Performance)
What made us leary of the company was you never answer your phones. You have an answering machine and it tells you how busy you are and leave your name and number and you will call back. I have been waiting since April. If you want this to be an honest company you need to make your distributors feel like they can call the company and get answers. We should not have to call the person that signed us up. You should have thought out the demand on your product if it is as great as you claim. You should have known most people want to save money on gas!! Is it true that your office on Walnut Hill is just a big building and you still can not speak to anyone there? Just very curious. We want to make money but we want to feel comfortable with what we are selling. Mr. Mims should know all about that. Your autoships are super slow and in fact we have never received them. We really wanted this to be a good thing but it really scares us to sell something to friends and neighbors with so much negativity surrounding this product.

I like to say that all of you who join BioPerformance is a fool! I am 21 years old and I am smarter than all because you join BioPerformance. All you do eat lies after lies without checking a single sources of information. IT IS NON-TOXIC… blah blah what if you daugther swallow it and she die? Have you ever tried it yourself? It made of mothball! Dumb head! Bang the pills into powder and light it up with match! Smell it and see for yourself! What an idiot! I can see all those people who attended the BioPerformance seminar that they have been had.
For you information about how much the owner get for all those Benjamin dollars!
According to the report, over 30,000 people joined. They claimed that they can pay you $100 per 2 people you sign up for them. The sign up fee costed your people $300. The $100 go right into the owner pocket minus the $1 plastic bottle, ingredient of meth (moth ball), machinery, website, etc. I would say an average of $25 per 2 people who sign up. that would leave $75 times 30,000 = $4,500,000. I would say that the vice president and his cronies get that share of money within 2 month.
Oh by the way, they claimed that they created the company since 1989. This is false and may give you an idea of how long they really exist. According to the domain website registrant, it was created 1 years ago and the rest is pretty much unknown. My guess is that they must of set this up since 3 years waited under shadow and then emerge thinking that they are going to get away from their scam.
I want everybody who joined BioPerformance to post in this forum. Tell us how you feel about their recent asset freeze and website closed down? Feel angry? Vent your rant here and tell us your story!
Wise Person on May 19th, 2006 at 10:21 am
Correction: When I said that they pay you $100 it actually $200 minus the $300 that the 2 person paid to join the “band wagon”.
OK?

What a feeding frenzy these lies about Bioperformance have propagated! Imagine, shutting a company down over a lab test (funding unknown) on one single vehicle, when over 50,000 vehicles are getting results that are exciting and REAL, and IGNORED by this unscrupulous judge and attorney general.
In this ‘free’ country, are they ‘protecting’ us a little too much? Or are they just protecting Big Oil as I suspect? If this didn’t work, I don’t think we’d be hearing much about it at all, and most of the naysayers are scoffing much without even having tried the product!
I can HONESTLY say that I used the product and it worked so well that I’m disgusted with our government to be so hypocritical about reducing our fuel consumption. I pray that the TRUTH will come out, and all of us can share in this true blessing.
The only claim I question is the “non-toxicity” claim, but I believe that came from the EPA report! Read it.

I am one of the very top leaders and income earners in 4-ecorp. I read this thread with great interest, and entertainment. First off: in no way shape or form do we celebrate the demise of Bio Preformance. Yes, the product may have been made of moth balls (lol) but many people got hurt and mislead. That is never good. Just to let you all know the UK gallon is made up out of 4.5 ltrs and is at present between £95.9p and £105p which makes it $1.793 to $1.963 a ltr therefor a UK gallon costs $8.068 to
$8.833 a gal so in a way they are right
I have only just joined up in ethos and it is not yet live in the UK but I am getting emails from people in the USA saying how much it had increased their MPG so at present I can only go by word of mouth ,I will let you know how it goes when I get my first pack but it does look good on the surface and I have requested lab results for it we will see OK

I’ve seen the nay-sayers and people whose research wouldn’t have passed muster with my high school English teacher. For example, you look up a web registration and based on that single fact, conclude that there is a big scam going on? Oyyy.
I have a blog which was intended to chronicle my journey as a new PRELAUNCH distributor. But it’s interesting to one-by-one discount the naysayers. The first issue covered is the Victor Industries merger. I am currently researching the DoD contracts. Visit my blog at http://downshiftyourcost.blogspot.com/ to get up to date facts.

I signed up with 4E and received my product a few weeks ago. All I can say is “WOW”. We have a ‘98 Jimmy that had been trying to stall out at lights and it stopped doing that as soon as we put Ethos FR in the tank. It keeps running better and better.
For all of you who claim it is a scam, you are wrong. If you haven’t tried it, how would you even know? And if you haven’t tried it, don’t spread lies and rumors about it.
Quite a few industry leaders just spend some time in the Ethos facilities. They were all very impressed. The truth will come out very soon and you who have spread lies and misinformation about Ethos FR being a scam will certainly feel stupid.

I signed up with Ethos 3 months ago, because I wanted to get in early on this opportunity, but now I realize that this binary is really, not beneficial to the average Joe, who was instructed to share this with every one he meets. Friends, Family, and Neighbors (warm market). after 15 yrs. network marketing experience and no checks to prove to my downline that this really does work, I refuse to share this or any other MLM Oppotunity with anyone I know personally.

Dave Reid aka “Emergence” you are no better than the principals of 4-E Corp. Even you can’t deny the lies, deception and down right scamming that has been going on. You should of had credit cards months ago, but you are told weekly “Credit cards are coming” that was about 2 weeks ago, and since April there are still no credit cards, Your not going public, you have no tested product, you have no independent tests from EPA certified labs, your product is not used by the military, your company is not 10 years old, inf act it just made the 6 year mark. You have no patents, Enrique has so many civil suits against him it’s ridiculous. He just used the money from 4-E reps to pay off a $ 90,800 lien that the City of San Diego had against Ethos Enviromental. Now 4-E and Ethos Enviromental have been served leagl papers to appear in court for violating a court oder where Omstar prevailed. Keep taking that money and run, unbelievable how money has corrupted you.

I believe I just read a blog dated 8/11/06 in which David Reid admits to another former distributor that his downline has fizzled and that he is looking for “greener pastures”. Is this the same David Reid as mentioned above?
With the amount of available information out there, I am shocked that many are still with 4-E Corporation. My hope and prayer is that they will take the time to investigate on their own (as I did) before bringing anyone else into their downlines.

I have tried two bottles of Ethos fuel Reformulator in my 92 Merecedes diesel. I have carefully measured and recorded Ethos additions, mileage driven, and fuel used.
I have found the product has no effect on my fuel mileage. I conclude that additional purchase of Ethos FR would be a waste of money and suspect the whole company is involved in fraud.

Hey folks. Interesting to come back to this forum after all these months! Wow. We have a little 20/20 vision here that we did not have a few months ago.
As many of you know, 4E went through a terribly chaotic prelaunch. Members of 4E we subjected to the incessant spam first from Phil Picallo, and then from Richard Snell. It was really bad, and it did seriously hurt the moral of 4E members, of this there is no doubt. People went elsewhere, sick and tired of this battle, and not really knowing the truth of what was happening. You can’t blame them! It was an all out war.
But here we are, in the beginning of November, and it’s an interesting veiw point. Major changes have transpired with the 4E managagement, and it is almost as if the company is recreating itself anew.
Stranger than fiction, product is shipping out, people are flying in from many countries for their Launch event, the site has been redesigned, and there are no more spam emails from Richard or Phill. I have no idea what happened to AATCM, but I heard that Phil has long left. Ironic.
4E continues to pay people week after week, without missing a beat. Though the product seems to work differently for different people due to the many variables, it does appear that people are getting consistant good results with the Ethos product.
I actually heard that Enrique is poised to go public in the very near future.
Now, I am not in any way apologizing or even claiming to know the truth about some of the drama that went on. I certainly do not. I did personally have to step back for the past months, to see what came of it, to see what the truth actually was. I still don’t know! There all kinds of inconsistancies, challenges, problems, red flags, issues, dramas etc. Oh yes there were!
But I do know that Dan Atkinson is truly dedicated to moving through all challenges, and is fully the captain of the 4E ship. And judging from the fact that: Product continues to be shipped on time, checks are being paid on time, Enrique is on track to go public from what we are told, credit cards are being accepted for purchases and for autoship, autoship has been activated, and this company seems like it is not dissapearing any time soon.
And for your entertainment purposes, I am going to copy an email I got re: a correspondence between Phil Picallo and Richard Snell. After all these two put us through, it is interesting to read this!
The following is for informational and ENTERTAINMENT purposes only!
November ,2006
Phil’s Message To Richard Snell
PHIL’S MESSAGE:

———————————————————————————————————————
Richard Snells Response To Phil
MY RESPONSE
I should have learned from the other Piccolo MLM Games. Since you are the only Christian in the group you must think that you can walk on water and not drown. Your answer to all of your schemes is: “They took advantage of me because I am a Good Christian”. I will not even put myself in a relationship with you. You have lied to everybody and then “Praise God” to help you out of your mess. Your phony Turbo Charge is why people did not want to sign up under you. You just Turbo Charged that money into your own pocket. The reason that the people are not receiving their product is because you used all their money on your own toys.
Nobody can believe you because your DEALS always end up the same way. “POOR ME…THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME BECAUSE I AM A CHRISTIAN. I CAN’T PAY YOU BACK RIGHT NOW BECAUSE I HAD TO HIRE EXPENSIVE ATTORNEYS TO GET OUR MONEY BACK.”. Phil, I didn’t know that you were an attorney. How much of a retainer did you pay yourself this time? I spoke to Paster Mark at Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale and he says you pull the same scam on them. You promised millions to their church building and now you had to tell them that all of those HEATHENS and evil doers took all your money. You hide behind Pastor Coy anymore when troubles come your way but he can’t protect you anymore. All you had to do was do as you promised and paid your commissions and my expenses.
You try to get everybody on your side but nobody trusts you anymore. Even Kristen has lost her money and her faith in you. Your website looks like a three ring circus with you standing there with your whip but nobody is paying attention or following your lead. Even you partners thought that you were stupid and greedy about $812.00 for the cell phones and the $10,000.00 in fees and commissions. You lied to everyone when you said that you bought the company and now you are selling it for $50 Million Dollars!!! What a joke. The only thing you sell is AIR. God gave us AIR for free. You could make a lot of money using your abilities to BLOW HOT AIR IN BALLONS. You will be hearing a lot more from me. I believe in Omstar because of all the research I put into the company. However, I am now finding more facts on Ethos to dispute and/or clarify certain allegations. You can’t stay in church all day and night. Even vampires come out at night to suck the blood (money) from people. See you then.
I will stand behind Mr. Skaggs and Mr. Garland 100% until I have documented proof and then I will provide a letter of apology and retraction to 4E and Ethos. I was able to get a contract with Mr. Richard Nahao, the representative from Japan. He will be back next week and he will be very glad to hear that you are no longer with the company.
Please file a suit against me for all I have said here. The Federal Courts in Houston and the Houston Chronicle will have a lot to write about this one because the people from Enron, your future cellmates, will be waiting for you.
I am preparing my final notes to the field about Ethos and Omstar…we will see how it plays out!!!
Richard Snell
former 4E Rep on November 13th, 2006 at 4:58 pm
Let’s see here.
We were first lead to believe that Ethos-FR was already doing in excess of a $100 Million Dollars Annually per year. $7 Million a month to China alone. We were told that Enrique, the CEO of Ethos was a Harvard Grad with many patents to his name including one for the Ethos-Fr product. He was nominated for the Nobel prize. This company is 10 year’s old.
Each and every statement that is above can now be PROVEN TO BE FALSE.
They are going public? YES, that is actually true, but with that said, they just had to release their financial statements for the last several years. $100 Mil in sales-LOL- try just a little over 2 million and most of that came from 4E-corp reps. As a matter a fact, they are actually showing minus 5 million on their books. Just were is the other $98 Million?
They even went as far as inviting a few leaders out to their headquarters in June to show them several very large government contracts from Governments around the world, so they could pass on to us that these were for real. It now turns out these were ALL forged documents and there is no large contracts with ANY government (including the US Military they also claimed to be using this product)
There is NO patent on this product like they also lead us to believe.
They are not 10 years old, but just barley 6 years old.
Enrique never attend Harvard, in fact it was a collage out in California that was never completed.
He has more law suits pending then anyone I have ever seen. He just recently paid of a $90,000 judgement to the city of San Diego with his first big payment from 4E-corp.
I could keep going on and on, but I think this enough to get my point across if you are even considering promoting this company or (Lord help you) are still trying to promote this, when you have been being lied to from day one.
Phil may have crossed the line in sending us all that (what we thought at the time)garbage, but the fact is, he was 98% accurate in what he posted.
Don’t lose your integrity by getting involved with a company all built on lies.

I posted on this forum back in June. I am still a 4E Ethos Distributor. I still maintain the Prelaunch Distributor blog (http://downshiftyourcost.blogspot.com) I noted in June. I went to the warehouse for the 4E Day at the Launch on November 3. I even won the contest to share in 2% of Company Revenues.
I just want to say, I’m glad I did my own thinking and homework on all the issues that were raised in this forum.
I hung in there. I am an intelligent IT Professional who worked for one of the top ten companies in America and for one of the world’s largest IT companies.
You know what? Scandal happens. Lies and innuendo happen. Buggy prelaunches happen. Competitors happen. Gossip happens. Jumping to conclusions happens.
Good also happens.
When you go into business for yourself, as you do in network marketing, you have to learn how to evaluate good and bad for yourself. You do your homework. You’re careful and methodical. You know jump in and out like a frog.
I see posts in this forum where people say, “Tried it in my own vehicle and it didn’t work”. In one vehicle? In the IT world, if you drew that conclusion with that little homework you would not be on my team for long.
You know what? When I received my first 24 bottles, I went to 24 people and said, each one of you try this, I need to know if it works.
It was a fabulous learning experience. (First thing you learn is, most people have no idea what their mileage is. Second thing is, on or off Ethos, mpg fluctuates).
It doesn’t produce huge results in all vehicles. But it produces substantial results in most vehicles. Yes, it happens to work in my car. And my HC emissions — which I test frequently– are almost unmeasurable after six months on Ethos.
And now I have the satisfaction of helping a co-worker bring home more of his paycheck: he delivers for Pizza Hut on weekends so he can pay medical bills. I’m helping him save on gas money. I help my brother save 50% (yes, 50%) of his monthly fuel bill so he can pay HIS family medical bills.
I’m glad to be a thinking business owner who can go the distance.

It seems that anyone can post anything and people believe what they write. I was in the hospital for the last weeks in November caused by a MRSA in my face. I never wrote any emails or letters to anybody because they don’t allow computers in isolation.
I still stand by everything I posted that had documentation and court records to back up my claim. I never wrote to Phil Piccolo or Joel Sauceda. Phil Piccolo started 4-E and now that nobody deals with him he has been unable to sell and MLM business. Omstar is doing business as a commercial distributor and things are going well. If anybody wants to talk about Ethos or 4-E they can call or write.

There is no miracle in a bottle, no matter what anyone thinks. Anyone who thinks their vehicle runs better or gets better mileage is delusional, scamming others, or more than likely, suffering from the severe placebo effect these things create.
Car makers are under intense pressure and they scrounge for every fraction of an MPG they can get. If this stuff, or any other, actually worked the refineries would be adding this to refined gasoline under a government mandate.

It ALWAYS amazes me when people think lies don’t matter. If Teresa Holliday (whose brain is obviously on permanent “holiday”) had one live brain cell actually working and if she could get past the “I won a prize!” mentality, she might consider for one moment that if they lied ONCE they will lie AGAIN. THEY ARE STILL LYING! Her mentality is, “So they lied! Big deal! Shut up and make money!” Apparently, “IT Department” in her case must stand for “Idiot Train”. These WONDERFUL people at 4-E were advised by their attorney to REMOVE the 7-19% fuel savings from their site because they could NOT prove it (they subsequently fired her and hired some “yes men”). All their claimed “tests” on the Ethos product were actually performed by another company on another COMPETING PRODUCT for whom ENRIQUE had previouslyworked — then when this competing company discovered that Enrique was embezzeling funds, trying to steal the formula and actually stealing PRODUCT and RELABELING it, he ran away and started his own company. ISN’T THAT NICE? This is the wonderful man who claims to be “all about ethics” who “4planetearth” representatives are working so hard for. AND those are the sorts of lies that don’t matter to Teresa and David. All that matters is that they make money. What a bunch of monkeys. Only stupid people (or street walkers) don’t care about anything other than “am I making money?” David Reid, after all he KNEW withdrew but went running back because he thought he could make some more money — even though the people at the helm who did all the lying — Dan and Enrique - are still running the ship. No one like to see liars and thieves succeed… well, no one except for Teresa and David and the miniscule amount of people to whom ETHICS (isn’t that part of the mantra they all drone about?) doesn’t matter. Ethics my backside!
