 PR Web:

The prosperity automated system (PAS) appears to be the first truly “hands free home business opportunity, but is everyone having success with PAS?

(PRWEB) May 23, 2006 — If you haven’t yet heard of The Prosperity Automated System (PAS), don’t worry, you will soon. According to Alexa.com, the Prosperity Automated System receives over 10 million views daily from around the world, and has grown by more than 500% in the last three months alone. The rapid growth of the Prosperity Automated System has made PAS the most talked about home business opportunity on the internet.

“The buzz around this company is incredible, says Internet Entrepreneur Jeff Edwards, “I’ve never seen a program achieve such amazing results in such a short period of time. I was a skeptic at first, but after experiencing amazing results in my first month, PAS has made me a believer.

There’s about 9 pages worth on scam.com in discussion of it being a pyramid scheme.

I also blogged about it a short while back:
    http://homebusinesstoday.blogspot.com/2006/02/guaranteed-success-opportunities-do.html

So is it a scam? I personally don’t know for sure. I’ll need to put together all the facts first.

    Aaron,

On scams.com they are very negative and say everything is a scam… hense the name of the forum!

You should look at the system with an open mind and judge for yourself rather then listening to others.

I am very successful with PAS, and know many many others who are as well. Sure you will always find naysayers. But then see if those naysayers are still working JOBS, and that will give you all the answers you need. (wink)

    All the Best,

    Kimberly

    Hi Kimberly,

I believe the last sentence of my above comment demonstrates that I’m doing just that. However, putting together all the facts does of course require me to listen to those I know who have had bad experiences with PAS.

As for scams.com, I take them with a grain of salt. But nine pages of discussion, to me, does mean that it warrants further looking into in order to arrive at a final, factual analysis.

BTW, it’s now up to 15 pagethere’s no actual products. And so far, it looks like a pyramid scheme. There appears to be no actual product and the commissions are made off of the sales of new memberships.

That’s a textbook cased of an illegal pyramid scheme. I’m still investigating, though, to find out for sure.

PAS is definitely another SCAM!!! BIG TIMER SCAM!!!
Simply claim that No prospecting, No Calls, No this and No that——— the truth is you need to promote madly in order to close sales.
The followup calls from PAS is very badly managed.
Beware of this BIG MLM SCAM!!! You will end up be ripped off!

I am not particularly sure about PAS. I’ve just heard about it for th first time and I’m still trying to figure out the truth of it. But from what you guys are saying, it seems it is supposed to be a no go area. Is that correct?

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is now seeking to totally shut down Prosperity Automated System. Seems even they recognize it to be an illegal pyramid scheme.

    The SEC Shutdown:

And, as you can see by the above comments, I’ve been warning people about this since way back in May! Hopefully now poeple will begin to listen and avoid losing thier hard-earned money.

    Best always,

For all of you bloggers, the PAS systen is designed so that you can market up 6 other businesses along with PAS. That is the concept of a MARKETING PORTAL!

AS far as marketing, some people have made money without any active participation - others have not. Marketing is not an exact science folks - there is a lot of hit and miss involved. And, just plain luck too.

I have made money with the PAS System by selling new memberships AND by people joining my other businesses. And yes, I do take an active role in the business. Afterall, it is your money and your business.

The scary thing about a lot of the posts here is the level of ignorance that is evident in the statements made by some of the people. Before you label a business a “Pyramid Scheme”, know what a true Pyramid business is. Lots of people still believe Amway is a pyramid scheme after over 35 years of operation and billions of dollars in sales. The FTC would not allow this to go on!!!!

PAS IS undergoing some pretty big changes at this time and will be much better after completion of the re-structuring.The “Automated” will be removed from the name so as to not sound like it is an investment which the SEC says is a problem.

And finally, there are a number of ex PAS members (who were thrown out) posting copious amounts of negative information about PAS while telling readers they have found a better business opportunity that they will help you sign up for. Folks, it is a very old and unethical sales trick.

If you are not sure about PAS, check my website in 2 or 3 weeks and then make your decision.

PAS system is just another pyramid scheme. I truly hope the sec shuts them down. I joined PAS in march, lost $10,000 on advertising the so called “adpaks” with not even one person interested after all that advertising. It is only the very few 5% at the top that ever break even with this business so please do not loose your money like i did.

Yeah, and thanks for sharing that crap, Group Z. But I think we all know what to look out for.

PAS IS a scam, plain and simple. So stay far away from it!

PAS is in trouble and WILL be shut down. From my understanding the FTC isn’t going to allow this scam to carry on. As far as this quote-

“Lots of people still believe Amway is a pyramid scheme after over 35 years of operation and billions of dollars in sales. The FTC would not allow this to go on!!!!”

For one thing, Amway has had a lot of legal trouble in the past. However, they always find a way to comply with FTC guidelines. The difference is that Amway sells a large number of actual products, whether good or bad, whereas PAS doesn’t really sell anything. I can tell you also that I know many state AGs are pushing to get these companies in trouble. I am going to guess that the people who started this company and the reps that started from the beginning have probably all made their money. The company will fold and leave all of the people at the bottom out of over $3000/rep. If you promoted this scam it is my opinion that everyone that you recruited, that is out $3000 when the company folds, should sue you. And they probably will. If not, you should be lynched at the very least!

Wow! Lots to be said about PAS….Prosperity Automated System! I have seen the website and the movie and have looked hard at the FAQ and at the Associate Level it stated that you wouldn’t get any help recruiting people or sales closing help, etc and I don’t even think you could order the traffic packs either at that level….that’s the incentive to join at the higher paid levels so you can get all the phone support and sales closings and their optional advertising methods to choose from. They have now sorta changed their name to Prosperity International and are doing a Pre-Launch and state that date is around mid November….I’m guessing the 15th. They’ve changed things with the business that I’ve read…..I signed up on the Pre-Launch site and got a Pre-Launch website to advertise and try to get others signed up on and they sent me information about what’s going on and said that they will have informational products for their members….that’s a product….and that also if you joined the business you would now make a minimum of $2500 per sale…..before it was $1100…..so I’m assuming that the price has gone up because of the informational product they are now giving out on top of the 800# support line to answer prospects questions, sales closers, website to advertise with video of explanation and all……I personally hope no one messes with this excellent business because I’m so getting into it as soon as I can!lol!
    Peace!;0)
