The Dietary Supplement Education Alliance (DSEA), a not-for-profit partnership of scientific, educational and industry groups, announced today that Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE:HLF) has been elected to the DSEA Board of Directors.

John Venardos, vice president, worldwide regulatory and government affairs, will represent the company on the board. Venardos leads a team of seasoned professionals who proactively represent the company with regulators and elected officials in 62 countries where the company’s independent distributors conduct business. Venardos’ focus is on regulatory issues in regards to the company’s products, business opportunity and distribution channel. He is responsible for ensuring product labels, claims and advertising are compliant with each market, based on scientific substantiation and local regulations.
