Why have some called Vitamark a “ground floor opportunity with a twenty year track record�? Perhaps because, even though Vitamark was founded in 2002, its founders have been working together as industry innovators for quite a while!
When they first joined forces in 1981, David Bertrand and Jana Mitcham had experienced network marketing both as distributors and corporate officers. More importantly, they were family: David was married to Jana’s sister. Their goal was to create a company that had the values and integrity of a family business with the innovation and vision of a market leader. The goal was achieved in 1984 when they teamed up with industry legend Tom “Big Al� Schreiter to create Consumer Express, which later became Nutrition For Life. Throughout the 1990s, David, Jana and Tom were respected as networking innovators. Along the way they earned a reputation for integrity, too.
