If you are looking for a site that will tell you what works and what doesn´t when it comes to promoting your site, then you should take a look at TrafficTesters.

I haven´t tried it (paid for this service) myself, so I don´t know if it´s any reliable. You would have to pay $10 a month to get access to their results, just by visiting their site you get access to two samples.
