When your prospect pleads poverty.

July 25, 2006 by Ty | 1 Comment

 When your prospect says: “I can’t afford $49 for a distributor kit. I barely have enough money for cable television, cigarettes, lottery tickets and beer.”

You simply reply: “You have cable television, right?

Which will make you more money? Cable television or our opportunity?”

If your prospect doesn’t subscribe to cable television, just modify your approach for the following:

* Smoking
* Beer
* Golf
* Eating out at restaurants
* Movies
* Pizza

Your prospect has money. But your prospect is choosing where he WANTS to spend his money. This is your chance to check if the prospect is really serious about having an opportunity.

    I totally agree. There are just so many persons that have money for movies, partying, etc, but refuse to spend money for their future. It sad but sometimes it is possible to show them better.
