ECONET, Inc., the parent company for Unigen Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Aloecorp, Inc. and Univera LifeSciences, Inc., has announced the hiring of Edwin Kamauoha as Associate General Counsel.
“Edwin’s knowledge and experience will prove an asset to our family of companies as we continue rapid global expansion,� said Thomas J. Hoolihan, Executive VP & General Counsel. “His blend of governmental and supplement industry practice, particularly in domestic and regulatory affairs in nutritional supplements and cosmetics, is a great fit here, and we look forward to having him on our team.�

Kamauoha was most recently Associate General Counsel for Nu Skin Enterprises of Provo, Utah. Prior to that he was Deputy Attorney General for the State of Hawaii, following his service as Deputy Public Defender for the State of Hawaii. Kamauoha attended Brigham Young University where he received his J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark Law School and his undergraduate degree in Business from the Marriott School of Management. He is a member of the Utah State Bar and the Hawaii State Bar.
