The Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF) has established a Casa Herbalife program to bring good nutrition to children at the SOS Children’s Village in Rome, Italy, which provides temporary shelter to minors suffering from personal, family or social distress.
The Rome Village was established in 1986 and today consists of eight family homes. The HFF grant will go towards the organization’s annual food budget, to help provide nutritious meals for the children.
SOS Children’s Villages is dedicated to providing homes to abandoned children and providing them with the same social opportunities and sense of family offered to children with a stable family background. There are currently over 400 SOS Children’s Villages in 132 countries, supporting approximately 60,000 children and teenagers.
