Scientists "substantiate” safety of noni fruit juice

No word on whether scientists have been able to make noni taste better than melted car tires mixed with prune juice yet…

Scientists have reviewed the safety data and case reports of supposed adverse reactions for noni fruit juice, and reached the same conclusions as the EU that the fruit poses no safety risk to consumers.

“The increasing popularity of the juice today has necessitated this review,” said the authors.

Noni juice, from the fruit of the Morinda citrifolia L. plant was authorised for sale in the European Union under novel foods legislation, but case reports have continued to surface claiming adverse events after consumption of the juice.

I am a Food Scientist by profession. I am a regular consumer of Tahitian NONI. I can vouch that it has virtually no side effects. In any case I have always felt wonderful and great( and all the numerous people I know that take it in Nigeria )since I started taking it. Bravo! Let’s drink more Tahitian NONI to our health; to our lives!!!

Now if noni didn’t taste like melted down car tires, they might be on to something…

Ty, are you talking about Tahitian Noni juice or just noni? Because Tahitian Noni juice is quite tasty. My kids (12 & 10) love it. They have felt the benefits of TNJ and will ask for more if they feel their body need it.
