“Operation Helmet,” a Texas-based group that supplies free helmet kit upgrades to soldiers stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan, will benefit from a special Mary Kay Cosmetics sales event set for this Saturday from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. at My Kitchen Witch Cafe, 29 Beach Road, Monmouth Beach.
Beauty, skincare products and gifts will be sold at the cafe with proceeds going to Operation Helmet, which is supported entirely by public donations. The event is open to the public and complimentary beverages and snacks will be served.
