Stamping has been around a long time, and rubber stamps are not only used in card making, but also in scrapbooking and other crafts as well, said Coones and Asbury. An organization called “Stampin’ Up” sells supplies through house parties, and many craft stores sell the stamping supplies. Stamping conventions, where stampers can learn about new products and techniques, are gaining popularity all over the country, said Asbury, who just returned from one such event in Clearwater.
“All they have is scrapbooking and stamps,” she said. “You go there and learn how to make it.”
