The spaghetti dinner and silent auction, co-sponsored by the Noon Day Lions and Dawn to Dusk Lions, will run from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Crookston High School commons, prior to the Pirate girls’ basketball game. There will be a free-will offering, and matching funds from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans have been applied for.
Donated items on the auction roster so far include the following: a Lake of the Woods fishing package, items from the Wired Ladies, Pirates Cove and Crookston hockey apparel, wine, local art, baby clothes, Lia Sophia jewelry, Tastefully Simple food items, Pampered Chef items, RBJ’s Spreadable Fruit packages, a CustomAire gift certificate, Sioux hockey tickets, a handmade purse, hand-painted wine glasses, a Nicholas Collections throw, locally made snacks, and tools, just to name a few.
