Norman Transcript:
The 25th Annual Oklahoma City Home and Garden Show will be Jan. 19-21 at the Oklahoma Fairgrounds. The theme for this year’s show is “Blooming with New Ideas.
With more than 400 local and national exhibitors, eight are from the Norman area. The exhibits will provide new products, ideas and trends, which are expected to “explode onto the market during the year.
Mark Framz said the show “probably generates 50 percent of our business for the year, as far as sales go. He had his wife, Joy, own Perma Glass in Norman, a company that turns vinyl liner pools into fiber-glass liner pools. They’ve been going to the show, which Mark calls “great, for as long as they can remember.
While there will be a lot of companies showcasing items for the home and garden, Norman exhibitor Belinda Jayne’s exhibit is about helping kids “bloom in the home. Her company, Discovery Toys, offers an exclusive line of educational toys, books and games, Jayne said.
“For us it’s just an important event for families, Jayne said. “It’s all related to the home.
