Network Marketing Attrition

With the advent of the internet and the latest and greatest “pre-launch” of the week, MLM Distributors are moving around and jumping ship like never before in an effort to “get in at the top” so to speak, and get rich quick.

The MLM industry has become obsessed with “timingâ€?, “pre-launchesâ€?, and “the next big thing.” The number of new people coming into MLM each year is now drastically out of proportion with the number of new company start ups.

    Ty,

This is a great comment. As the owner of a leads company, I have seen many people who are with one company for a season, and then another company as it is being launched.

In my opinion, company loyalty is very rare. In fact, I only see it among some of the more established companies (PPL, Mannatech, Melaleuca, etc.).

In the past, MLM had a bad name because of the deceptive practices and outrageous claims. Today, I believe an equaly bad name is being made in our industry with all the jumping from one company to the next.

Anyway… good post. I’m not sure what to do about it, except before you join your next MLM company, stop, count to a million, do a little more research, and then decide if you should leap.

    Rich
