You could say destiny drove Kim Elmore into home-party sales.
After all, Elmore had spent a chunk of her youth at home parties that shaped her mind-set for becoming independent future director for Pampered Chef, a home-sales company with more than 60,000 consultants worldwide.
“I went to Tupperware parties with my mom when I was in elementary school,” said Elmore, a resident of Titusville. “As a teen, I would go to home parties that featured home-decorating products like candles.”
The party sales scene has changed considerably since Elmore attended those burp-intensive Tupperware to-dos years ago.
At that time, the stock options for party guests were primarily limited to Tupperware or Avon or Mary Kay.
