Beacon Journal:

Tastefully Simple RecallIf you’ve been to a Tastefully Simple party lately, take note.

The company is recalling its 3-ounce jar of Dried Tomato & Garlic Pesto Mix, and sample size packets of the same item, because they contain sulfites, which aren’t listed on the label.

Tastefully Simple sells gourmet food products in home shows.

People with sulfite allergies run the risk of serious, potentially life-threatening reactions if they consume sulfites. So far, no illnesses have been reported, and the company is changing the labels. Sulfites are a danger only to people who are allergic to them.

For more information or to request a refund or replacement, call the company at 888-759-2907 between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.
