Tupperware Brands Corp. late Tuesday reported earnings per share toward the high end of previous guidance range on strong sales for the fourth quarter of 2006.
Orlando-based Tupperware (NYSE: TUP) reported net income of nearly $40 million, or 65 cents per share, on revenue of $486.5 million for the three months ended Dec. 30. That compares with net income of $31.2 million, or 51 cents per share, on revenue of $361.8 million for the same period in 2005.
