Usana Health Sciences Inc. (USNA.O: Quote, Profile , Research) raised its earnings outlook for the fourth quarter and said that it would make a reclassification that would slightly reduce net sales for the quarter.
Shares of the company, which makes nutritional, personal care and weight management products, rose 6.15 percent to $52.65 in late morning trade on the Nasdaq.
The company said in a statement that it now expects to earn 58 cents to 60 cents a share for the quarter, versus the prior outlook of 56 cents to 58 cents a share.
