I’ve seen it far too many times; individuals joining Network-Marketing Companies only to find that within the first month they have already lost a significant amount of money. Most Network-Marketing Companies require that an associate/business partner pay a monthly fee in order to stay active. This ‘fee’ can be paid either through actual cash or by purchasing a certain number of products. The fee – either cash or points – is passed through the individuals upline. The individual him/herself never sees the money again. Anyone who has just joined the business – and has therefore yet to establish an associate network or customer base – will find that they will immediately be making losses.
