  • Longaberger Baskets in Trouble? Layoffs of 710

    Longaberger Co. said Tuesday it is cutting its work force by about 22 percent.
    Spokesman Tom Matthews said the company began notifying the 710 workers, all basket-makers and manufacturers, Monday night. The reductions will take place over the next two weeks.
