NEW YORK, May 9 (Reuters) – Tupperware Brands Corp. (TUP.N: Quote, Profile, Research is aiming for sales growth of up to 18 percent in emerging markets like India, China and Indonesia in the next five-to-10 years, its chief executive said on Wednesday.
“You will see sales modulate to the 15 to 18 percent level. (Those markets) are growing and they are all profitable,” Chief Executive Rick Goings told Reuters in an interview.
When it reported its earnings in April, the company said it expected local currency sales in the Asia Pacific region to increase in the high-single digit percentage range with a small increase in return on sales in the region.
