NutriliteADA, Mich., June 5, 2007 – Nutrilite-sponsored athletes, Asafa Powell and Liu Xiang, will race on the same day, in the same place for the first and only time in North America this year at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, Ore., on June 10, 2007.

Asafa Powell, world-record holder in the 100m sprint, will race in the 200m event at the Prefontaine, competing against some of the world’s best athletes including the current world-record holder in the 400m sprint and the reigning 200m champion.

The newest Nutrilite global brand ambassador, Liu Xiang, world record holder in the 110m hurdles, won his event at the 2006 Prefontaine Classic, but also up against a strong field of competitors this year. “I will definitely deliver the Nutrilite philosophy to every corner of the world,” Liu says.
