Amway - Quixtar Reviewing Practices Worldwide

ADA, Mich. (AP) - Amway says it’s conducting a review of its practices worldwide following word its business in the United Kingdom drew the attention of regulators.

The Ada, Michigan-based direct marketing giant also says it has placed a 120-day moratorium on recruitment of new distributors in Britain.

In Britain, a year-long investigation led to a complaint against Amway.

Amway is a subsidiary of Alticor, and a company spokesman says it’s implementing “best practices” around the world.
