Todd Falcone:

Herbalife and David Beckham Make Sports Illustrated CoverIt’s not everyday that a Network Marketing company graces the cover of a major magazine. In fact, outside of the “work at home” type magazines that are basically advertorial in nature, I can’t think of one.

Of course that changed when David Beckham, sporting an Herbalife – L.A. Galaxy jersey graced the cover of the most recent Sports Illustrated.

Herbalife made a very smart move in sponsoring the L.A. Galaxy, especially after they signed U.K. soccer phenom David Beckham.

David Beckham’s L.A. Galaxy jersey will likely be the number one selling jersey in American soccer and every single one of them will have Herbalife splashed across the front.

According the MLM Blog, Herbalife signed a 5 year deal worth $3.5 to $5 million with the L.A. Galaxy. The Herbalife deal follows a similar deal that Xango signed with Real Salt Lake.

It might be time to wake up your brother-in-law. Network Marketing is hitting the mainstream. Network Marketing is no longer blue collar broke people trying to make a buck and this type of news really goes a long way towards properly branding the image of Network Marketing. Special thanks to MLM phenom, Art Jonak for pointing out the cover.

That’s pretty remarkable, Todd. Herbalife has been around for a long while though, they deserve this. Good on them!

Did you hear hear about USANA doing a deal with the women’s tennis (WTA)?

What was different about this (as opposed to their ice skating and olympic athlete sponsorship deals) is that the WTA was the one who approached USANA.

Network Marketing is the wave of the future. When it’s news it will be too late
