(RTTNews) – Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. (PPD | charts | news | PowerRating) reported second quarter net income of $13.2 million, up 9% from $12.1 million in the previous year quarter. Earnings per share for the quarter rose 22% to $0.99 from $0.81 in the prior year quarter.
Quarterly total revenues rose to $114.1 million from $111.2 million in the year-ago quarter. Membership revenues for the quarter were $106.9 million, up 4% from $103.1 million in the last year quarter.
