Salt Lake Tribune:

Usana Health Sciences Inc., a West Valley City-based manufacturer of nutritional, personal care and weight management products, said Tuesday its net sales for the second quarter increased 18.3 percent, its 20th consecutive quarter of record sales.

Net sales for the quarter ending June 30 reached $109.4 million, up from $92.5 million in the same three-month period a year earlier. Usana attributed much of the increase to a 25 percent increase in the number of associates involved in direct sales of company products. Direct sales for the second quarter accounted for $107.4 million of the company’s revenue total, a 19.8 percent increase over the previous year.
