Manitowoc Herald Times Reporter - Pampered Chef founder to speak
Doris Christopher, founder and chairman of The Pampered Chef, will be guest speaker at the Women in Management Inc. monthly meeting from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at the Best Western Lakefront Hotel, 101 Maritime Drive.Christopher founded the company, which sells kitchen tools through home parties, in the basement of her suburban Chicago home in 1980. Today, it is a $700 million enterprise with 60,000 consultants.
Cost to attend the meeting is $15 for members and $18 for non-members.
Deadline to register is Friday, Sept. 28.
