Should I Tell People About the Business or The Products?

question signPeople often ask me if they should tell people about the products or the business. The answer to this question depends on a few factors. Here are a few questions to ask yourself to help you figure out the answer for yourself.1) What are my gifts, strengths, passions, and obvious resources?
If you’re going to market your business, this is where you can sit back and decide what it is you would be passionate about doing. This is where you look at yourself and think through all the assets you bring to the table. What are you going to be most effective talking about?

If you are a nutritionist working with a wellness company and you already have hundreds of clients asking you questions about nutrition… start with the products, but then mention your referral program and how your clients can get the cost of their products covered by referring a few people.
