looking for the best way to generate more traffic. There are endless
ways to generate traffic. The big thing to remember is there is no one
silver bullet for traffic. Consistency always gets the prize.The
first detail you must remember when generating traffic is to focus on
one type until you get proficient at it. For example if you decide to
start with pay per click advertising concentrate on that until you have
some sort of results. Once you feel like you can do it in your sleep
then move on to use another type of traffic generation.

The comment about having a way to test and track your traffic is critical. When I first launched my web site, I had no clue where my traffic was coming from, other than Ebay since I was making sales and generating traffic from it.
Without knowing where your traffic is coming from, you have no idea whether what you are doing is working or not. As a result, you could be banging your head against a brick wall and not even know it.
A great tool to help you with this is Google Analytics. Its free to use and really has some in depth information about the traffic your web site is generating.
