PR-USA.net – Platinum One Destinations (P1D) Problems Persist

Right ChoicesMembers of Platinum One Destinations (P1D) seemed to be sold on the idea that booking with the up-start home based travel business would be easier than using some of the components of the Coastal Vacations membership packages. One Platinum One Destinations (P1D) member from Texas reported on the condition of anonymity that prices for one trip she was planning were more than double what she was able to book over the phone with her Coastal Vacations membership. After being quoted a rate of $135 a night with Platinum One Destinations (P1D), the member was able to book 2 rooms at a comparable hotel through Coastal Vacations at much lower rates with just one phone call. Her room with a king size bed was $59 and she also booked a room with a queen size bed for a friend at $49.Travel expert Dean Marino reports, “While many people are starting home based travel businesses because of the huge growth and income potential, most of those people are not frequent travelers and don’t have a clue about what to look for and what will sell. They’re investing big money and flying blind with no knowledge of the travel industry and then they wonder why they can’t get anyone to buy travel memberships that sell for as much as $15,000″

EXCEPT- this is a “press release” which is really a self published from of advertising (anyone with about $50 can have one published and appear to be giving the public legitimate “news”). I wouldn’t call it “smart” marketing unless you were targeting ignorant people and trying to pull the wool over their eyes!

It was written by Dean Marino- who is a “travel agent”- well I am too, that cost me about $150.

I had NO knowledge of the travel industry before starting my business, and truth be told- I still have very little as P1D is a direct sales company (not an MLM!) and is a registered, licensed and bonded travel company providing genuine certified travel agents to members wishing to book travel. I’m actually one of the top income earners in the company- so yes, this is a duplicable, simple system and a very easy product to proudly represent.

Dean might not be too shocked to learn that this “upstart” travel company is backed and supported by well known experts in the field and has generated just over 4 Million in sales since January 1st. It seems this “press release” was written as a way to bring people into his business.

P1D simply can NOT compare to Coastal Vacations- it is a different model, different class of service and travel, and a consumer product ahead of a business opportunity. It is quite literally like comparing a Ford to a Ferrari.. yes, they are both cars.. BUT- which one you choose really will depend upon your needs and your values.

Just a note about my credentials as a travel expert. Yes, I am a travel agent.

I have also flown over 1 million miles just with U S Airways and several hundred thousand miles on others. I am a Hilton Diamond VIP Member with over 27 stays per year as well at a top elitle level member with Avis Rent A Car (Avis First)

Lots of people try to make money selling travel that don’t walk the walk, so they just talk about making money and that’s it.

I have the travel experince. I replaced my six-figure annual income my very first year in network marketing with my first home based travel business. I went on to coordinate training for the largest group in Coastal Vacations as well as host their live conference calls.

I own travel businesses with Coastal Vacations, Global Resorts Network (GRN), and MOR Vacations. I support my members with group training and am personally available to them 7 days a week.

As a travel expert I don’t see the Platinum One Destinations (P1D) product as competative in the marketplace.

The Platinum One Destinations (P1D) program sells one basic membership at several price points. Members must purchase and use points in order to book travel using the membership.

Global Resorts Network (GRN) and MOR Vacations do not require the purchase of points. In fact, members of those programs never need to use or buy points for anything.

Global Resorts Network (GRN) offers 7 night condo stays starting at $298 and they sell a lifetime vacation club membership for under $3,000. The travel membership company was established in 1986.

MOR Vacations’ travel membership company was extablished in 1982. There are over 100,000 active members who have purchased the membership for up to $12,000 at seminars. MOR Vacations members can book 7 night condo stays at over 5400 resorts for as little as $149. They save up to 65% off at hotels, 50% off on cruises and much more.

The membership is new to network marketing as of November 2008 and offers a ground floor opportunity with experienced leadership. The new network marketing arm has over 10 years of experience in the home based business industry

MOR Vacations is currently offering a special on their Diamond lifetime membership at $1998.00. MOR Vacations offers payment plans to make the memberships affordable for everyone. The annual fees charged by Platinum One Destinations (P1D) and Global Resorts Network (GRN) are not part of the MOR Vacations structure.

For those who want to earn money with MOR Vacations, free marketing websites with autoresponders are available. The company offers a lucrative true perpetual leverage compensation plan with $2,000 commissions.

I conduct multimedia web presentations for the largest MOR Vacations group. We offer live as well as video-on-demand training and much more. I am personally available to my members 7 days a week.
