One of the first things I do in the morning before I start my nursing rounds is “Get Report”. This is the process where the oncoming nurse receives a status report on the patient from the nurse on the previous shift.

This article hits the nail on the head when it comes to building a relationship with the people we speak with, concerning our network marketing businesses.

Sometimes we can get so caught up with trying to recruit every targeted mlm lead we talk to, that we forget there’s a real person on the other end of the conversation, who’s looking for a solution to a problem.

If we take the time to listen to the other person, we’ll be in a better position to help them find a solution to what they’re looking for… whether our product or business is that solution or not.

    Great article!

    Wow, great example!

Using the example of the report that nurses get on their patients with the report that we need to get from our MLM prospects was a fantastic illustration of what we need to be doing as recruiters.

I HATE it when distributors just walk up to some random person and start pitching them on the opportunity. It sets a bad example and is one of the reasons MLM has a bad reputation.

By taking the time out to get to KNOW a person first and then showing how your business can help to address some gaps in their lives, you will recruit a lot more people in the process and avoid a lot of frustration as well.
