How long have you been a Consultant for Passion Parties?

I joined Passion Parties in Sept 2005. within 9 months of joining the company I elevated to Executive Director which is one of the companies highest levels.

What are some of the things you’ve learned from your experiences?

I have learned many things as a consultant and a leader. I love the interaction I have with the women who attend my parties. I learn through their experiences and am able to pass on advice and the knowledge that I have gained from my training with the company. As a leader, I motivated by helping my team achieve their goals and dreams.

Why did you choose Passion Parties over other the opportunities available through other companies?

One of the main reasons I chose Passion Parties is the company’s outstanding reputation in the industry. They have been in business since 1994, and are a solid, debt free company. I wanted to make sure when I built my business that the company I joined was there for the long haul as I was investing both my time and money. What does a Passion Party consist of?

As we are all independent Passion Parties consultants we are free to run our parties how we choose. Some consultants offer “themed” parties such as, Bachelorette, Newly Single, Holiday, Couples Parties, Girls Night Out and Pole Parties. The hostess can pick which party theme she would like.

Our most popular party is a girl’s night out. How many parties, on average, do you do per month?

I do anywhere from 8 to 12 parties a month.

What are some of the things you like and dislike about working for yourself?

I love not having to punch a clock! After 14 years of corporate life and working for someone else it is great to set my own schedule. I have a 5 year old daughter and this business has allowed me to be able to stay home with her. It has also saved me the expense of child care.

One thing that is hard about working for yourself is separating your personal time with your business time. Working from home is a challenge I am working now on setting a schedule for business hours.

Are there any changes that you’ve noticed in yourself as you’ve grown within your business? What are some of those changes?

I have seen great changes in myself. When I purchased my kit, I opened it up and thought what did I get myself into! I had never been to a toy store or even used a toy so I had no idea what the products where. I couldn’t imagine myself standing up in front of a crowd and talking about of all things sex. Now it is second nature to me. I am very comfortable talking to both men and women on the subject. I find it rewarding knowing that I am helping educate women on how to enhance their relationships.

I also really love be able to work all aspects of my business from marketing, training, participating in vendor events to doing my parties, I am always in a fun party environment, socializing with people from all walks of life. My previous job kept me behind cubicle walls so I really didn’t get as much interaction as I do now.

Where do you see yourself in the coming years?

My hope is to have a large team of Passion Divas across the US and Canada.

What advice do you have to offer to all the potential consultants reading this?

I would have to say to take a chance. You have nothing to loose and everything to gain. It is such a small investment that can truly change your life. Passion Parties offers you a chance at financial freedom.
