Mamapreneurs – those clever moms who have found ways to earn extra cash while staying home with their kids – will share their wares and expertise Saturday at Celebrate Mama!
Set for School Street in downtown Lodi, the free street fair offers shopping and inspiration for moms of all ages and stages. It also features a charity clothing drive for Lodi House.
“It’s a celebration, expo style, of women in business for themselves,” said Celebrate Mama! coordinator Wendy Vaz, a Lodi mother of two. “There are over 50 vendors signed up, and they are all women in business for themselves.”
While Tupperware and Avon have long been ways for stay-at-home mothers to make money, today’s moms are also pitching Juice Plus, Pampered Chef, Stroller Fit and more. Celebrate Mama! will include local vendors of nationally known products as well as mamapreneurs who make and sell their own crafts.
