Mannatech, Incorporated , a leading developer and provider of dietary supplements and skin care solutions, has announced that Team Mannatech athlete Donny Schatz won the Knoxville Nationals on August 9, 2008, becoming the second driver to win the prestigious race three years in a row.
Schatz, a 31-year-old World of Outlaws (WoO) sprint car driver, has traveled the U.S. and Australia racing in the sport’s premiere series since he was 18. He was introduced to Mannatech products in 2006 before he went on to win sprint car’s biggest race, the Knoxville Nationals. During the 2007 season, Schatz was signed to Tony Stewart Racing.
“It is such an amazing accomplishment to be one of only two people to have ever won the Knoxville Nationals,” said former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Butch Johnson, senior director of community affairs and sports marketing for Team Mannatech. “Both Mannatech and the Team Mannatech program are extremely proud to have Donny on our team.”
