Mary Kay Inc., America’s Best Selling Brand and one of the World’s leading Direct Selling companies, celebrated its first anniversary, marking its entry into the Indian beauty market in September 2007. Mary Kay India founder’s day, with the theme ‘Celebrate the dream 08’ was observed today at IMC Hall, Dimapur.
Talking with The Morung Express about the uniqueness of Mary Kay, Pamela Fortenberry Slate, Independent Senior National Sales Director, America said, “Mary Kay can be imitated but never duplicated. It stands on its own because of its culture. We have a class of our own.” While appreciating the growing market trend in Nagaland, Pamela said, “Nagaland is the strongest group in North East India.” She also conveyed the message that Mary Kay Company understands what women need and want; therefore, the Company will ‘help every woman to be as successful as they want to be. It will give them every chance to be successful.’
Puneet Madan, Director Sales Development, Mary Kay India, complementing with Pamela’s statement added, “Probably Nagaland is the fastest growing state for Mary Kay Company. The response is excellent from this market.” In appreciation towards people involved in setting up the Mary Kay network in the State, Puneet said, “we are thankful that women are crazy about cosmetics and we see immense potential in this market.” According to the Sales Development Director, “Mary Kay is a way of life.
