Shopping with a purpose is the theme behind the second annual Vendor Show organized by the MOMS Club Grayslake – South.
The event includes 17 vendors selling children’s books and toys, candles, makeup, jewelry and more. All proceeds benefit a Lake Villa-based charity called Newborns in Need, which helps sick or needy babies and their families.
The Vendor Show is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 27 at State Bank of the Lakes, 50 Commerce Drive, Grayslake. Vendors include At Home America, Discovery Toys, Lia Sophia, Southern Living, Initials Inc., Tastefully Simple and Usborne Books, among others. It also includes a bake sale, a cookbook sale and raffles. Admission is $2 plus one free raffle ticket.
