As a sales representative for catalog-based Silpada Designs, Perkins also doesn’t leave her house in Pontotoc without wearing 10 pieces of jewelry.
It’s a new way of life for Perkins, who was working for Mossy Oak this time last year. In fact, she said the feminine jewelry company appealed to her after “working in a man’s world of camouflage.”
“When you are really young in your career, climbing the corporate ladder is what you are all about,” she said. “But now that I’m older, I want to climb my own ladder.”
